Constructed in 1996, the project involved the expansion and installation of a complete bean dehulling process. Equipment included fluid-bed dryer, bean cracking units, impact mills, hull separation aspirators, fluid bed conditioner, vibrating screen separators, drag and screw conveyors, pneumatic conveying, fans, cyclones and extensive ductwork. Engineering included six-storey building addition; general arrangement of process equipment; services to all equipment including all piping, ductwork, process chutes and electrical.
