A complete complex for the storage and shipping of steel coils
and flat products was constructed in several phases at a cost of
$30 million. The facility includes a 500,000 sq. ft. plant with
drive-through truck and rail-car aisles, stacker cranes and storage
racks; 9,000 sq. ft. office facility housing inventory control and
shipping personnel; employee facility building; truck control pulpit;
tarp-up canopy; and paved truck marshalling yard.
Atkinson Engineering Inc. provided all architectural and engineering
services for entire building complex and site development.
