New Desolventizer and Extraction Plant Modifications

The modifications and new equipment additions constructed in 1996 involved a new Desolventizer Toaster Dryer Cooler facility to separate solvent from spent bean flakes and extensive new conveying systems to switch grain feed to two existing oil extraction plants. Project included piled foundations; multi-level service tower to the DTDC vessel; various conveyor support structures; ancillary equipment including fans, steam radiators, ducts, cyclones, air-to-air heat exchanger, stack, and all piping and electrical work and foam deluge fire suppression system.
